8 New Babies - 3 More On The Way!

6 Boys - 2 Girls...."JP Zen" was our first arrival of the year...a striking buckskin pure Lusitano colt by none other than the super popular Lusiadas...here are a few photos of Zen just a few days old...

Has Spring ... Sprung???

We got out the Winter coats, a-gain. But it promises to be mid-summer by this weekend...oh the weather! Nevermind that, we have 5 new colts born so far this year! Each one athletic, sweet and gorgeous... we'll get back soon about which foal is what color - The jury is still out. The foaling-watch team of Cedar, Lindsey, Jennifer and Rachel are doing a very commendable job, thank you very much!  We are still expecting another 6 new babies over the next 3 months.  Gosh, I hope we don't have ALL boys! Statistically, it's unlikely, but the way Mother Nature has been lately....well, you know what I mean.  Alive and healthy is just fine thank you!
